In August of 2022, Ariel, Jacob, and I went on a pretty incredible adventure in Iceland. We saw incredible sights, ate incredible meals (which was slightly surprising based on what we had heard prior to going), learned about how fickle and nasty Icelandic weather can be, and were treated to a stunning aurora borealis show on our last night there. We even learned and saw real life hobbit houses, that were carved into hills in Iceland. It was an amazing experience, suprisingly Middle Earth-like, and made all the more incredible by the fact that it was just a five hour flight from home.
